Christie’s e-mail reached me just at the end of a day of hard work, so I decided to have a quick look, just , you know, out of curiosity.
Pure coincidence, there’s an auction of jewels, online, until September the 30th, so I decided to have…. a quick look. Again.
Guess what, more work for me! in fact I found a very wide auction, which I recommend to all of You that love jewelry, because it features some very interesting pieces coming from various collections.
Eventually I made a selection of pieces, and since in these days I feel inspired by the season changing, I made it in a fall-wearable key, that one can wear at least until Halloween, or ,even till Christmas time!
No doubt, all the pieces are highly fashionable, and definitely à la Pàge!
Everything started with this ring, it always starts with a ring, isn’t it?
This is bold, made of copper (but lined in rose gold) with a huge, emerlad-cut Spessartite Garnet of like tons of carats. I mean, it’ s a dream, a dream signed Hemmerle.
immediately after, i saw this incredible necklace from Taffin, a marvelous tsunami of pink, red, purple and orange tourmalines, chalcedony beads, pearls and gold. Maybe the piece that gave me the real inspiration, since goes perfectly along with the ring.
From there I spotted three pair of earrings, one from Taffin in gold, diamonds, rubies and coral, and two from His Majesty JAR – made in resin or anodized aluminum- less formal but incredibly beautiful.
The color spectrum goes from orange to brown, with accent of, red, pink and purple, so it marries perfectly with a “Autumn” mood, going along with all the Fall colors from blue, to brown, to grey, to camel and so on.
Speaking of matching with colors, how not to mention the beautiful Jean Schlumberger’s brooch featuring a 70 ct. citrine?
For the pleasure of the wrists, finally, two magnificent bracelets: a multicolored work of jewelry from Bulgari and a titanium and diamond cuff from David Yurman.
I really hope you enjoy the selection.
Hugs, P.
